Jassan's Day Out !!!!

The Color of my hair- should have been the ideal title for the blog. But i guess no point in making it that offical. or should it have been Jassans day out at the parlour.......God knows have i ever seen anybody that excited about getting hair colored. She got up at nine instaed of one on a sunday morning.See thats called dedication -- for someone who doesnt get up at eight fifteen to reach office by nine... getting up at nine to reach parlour...Something. Couldnt help not to talk abot the different laugh she has.Man she looked like a model. I wondered if someone ever told her that she had a very cute laugh.

Well the excitement served after the results unfolded ...her colored hair did give he a deadly look.she looked like a model. Well well lets see Maddy addys reaction to it...hope he gets shocked too....i mean in the positive sense. People check it out....its all happening around you guys.

Sunday.......Nothing official about the day.

Sunday....gone are the days when sundays meant 'aaloo ka paranthas' , playing around and watching loads of TV. Today, sunday is the day to finish up with all the pending work from the week of hectic schedules....movies, tailors, grooming, flirting, partying and all else. More lately sundays have been in the office. I just wish i could stay back home and oil my hair, get a head massage and just laze around, soak in the sun, get a foot massage ........sounds yum. But sundays is also about mom , dad, and bro....remembering those days when dad used to be home the whole day long and mom used to be in the kitchen busy cooking for all of us. Those afternoon naps when we used to quitely close mom dads bedrooms door and go in the garden to play with our dog. Sundays was also about going for walks with mom and dad. When we used to run to the next tallest tree and wait for them to catch up with us. Not for the fun of it rather for the candies which we knew mom had hidden some place in the kitchen. Not to forget sundays used to be the day wen my dad used to try his hand at cooking and swear on god he is an amazing cook , though it used to be a little spicy but then it was worth it.

It used to be whole lot of fun. i wish we could bring those days back. But i guess like water time flows by and all we have are memories of those yesterdays.

The Color of my hair....

Thats the biggest mystery.... It used to be golden brown till i was six- seven. My mom got me bald every six months to get them black and heavy, and here i am today , spening thousands to keep them golden brown.

I cant forget the day when i was in IX std and had got bald in the summer break. Got them purmed in my Post Grauate days and today thanks to the Indian Economic Growth and Bless the brands like Wella and Loreal, my presesnt craze is getting them streaked golden-- Becaue I am Worth IT....the so very in, Blond Look. At times i do wonder what would have happened if there wouldnt have been so many cosmetics companies in India....the so called Indian Beauties wouldnt have been that beautifull any longer.

Talking of this newest craze, every other dame has got her hair straightened. Its been more or less like a FAD. I guess thats the new age women in India. Indipendent and concious about her looks. Aggressive and futuristic. So its not about Age anymore its all about being young at heart and also young at looks....

The Saturdays ......

Headline for today read Sachin and Sensex both at 15grands...where by i feel that each and every person here is fiffteen...some playing fiffteen some fighting fiffteen. At the end of the day i would say that every fifteenth day which we have working is a saturday which we definately curse apon but at the same time i cherish being together with all and sharing these small jokes....laughters

Saturday comes with a charm of its own. Its like the day before the exam..you are excited but at the same time you want to get over with it.At times i wonder why saturdays are so lazy. In anticipation to the coming sunday we literally drag through the day. Looking at each other i feel its The Day.....all in casuals, denims, tea shirts, skirts. Is it the excitement of the easy day ahead or is it that people are at peace to think of dressing funky or is it just that they dont want to dress up at all..those bathroom giggles and pantry chits and chats can go a little longer not that it doesnt happen on the week days but still saturday is saturday.

Saturday sees it all...politics, cricket, gossips, neighbours, husbands, cooking, holidays and the much talked about Peers in the office. How can you forget about the pain bearing souls of the so called juniors who sit and talk about their bosses...about the bosses who sit and talk about the numbers. Then there are these people who are on there computers working on the never ending EXELS looking for something in them. Saturday also sees lot of planning, analysis, reviews and showdowns. And And And not to forget lot of movies, dinners, beer parties and what not.

Saturday scares me of the the round conferences held in the dark conference rooms and amuses me of the discussions in the desk areas ...with pooled in treats or the BAKRA attitude...
SO LETS ENJOY

Its all in the spirits....

Dont know who said this but i am for sure a true believer to it......One in hand is always better than two in the bushes....well this goes for all the TC lovers in New Delhi.....I dont know what people go there for but then i just love the HONEY POTATOES......with a little beer they do taste good..and as for others....the bushes are good enough...
Call for the wednesday nights ....the so called Media Nights...you would see loads of shoulders drooping on each other....And obviously those sa called socialising tips " Oh my God,Is that you.....god you have lost weight ( Must be that new VlCC package. Even i need to join one) . How have you been sweetheart...ya my trip to Malasyia was great....Did you hear what happended the other day at Druggys party...." And how can we forget the hard hitted kiddos in their young twenties making their way big....a funky agency , a french beared..studs and a hot chick...fully loaded to be there....

And then there are these other kind of people who are there probably because they could not land up anywhere else at the same time ....The desperate old timers waiting for something to happen to them or someone else....Not to get into a criminal activity by not mentioning the Babes on board for whome modernisation means not the broadening of the mindframe rather its more to do with shorter dresses, Marbolos, Bacardis and much more......you can see a huge variety ...right from Janpath to the high society GK stores ( thats to talk about the wardrobes carried by these beautiful angels dying hard to be more....) Well Well thats for the last trip to TC..... not that i was not wearing one of those short ones but then i am DIFFERENT......I choose to criticise Myself
